A partnership shaped by imagination and order
Elliot & Hill Estates was founded with a simple intention: to create a more thoughtful way of selling homes — one that values design, clarity and the individuality of the spaces people live in.
Having lived in Cardiff since 2009, Elliot developed a genuine appreciation for the character and diversity of the city’s architecture. From Victorian terraces and Edwardian avenues to stone cottages and 1930s semis, the area offers a richness that continues to shape our work today.
His early years were spent designing and making bespoke furniture, a practice that sharpened his eye for materials, proportion and craftsmanship. In 2022, he established a surveying firm, which took him through hundreds of homes across Cardiff and the Vale. Those visits revealed something consistent: homeowners were investing enormous care into creating beautiful, characterful spaces — yet, when it came time to sell, the presentation rarely reflected that effort.
Homes with charm, detail and history were often photographed poorly, described generically or marketed without sensitivity to their architecture. The disconnect was clear.
Elliot & Hill Estates was created to close that gap.

Elliot leads with design awareness, surveying expertise and a calm, architectural eye — able to recognise the qualities that make a home distinctive and understand how best to present them.
Abbie brings the structure that holds everything together. Clear communication, steady organisation and a reassuring presence throughout the process. Her approach ensures clients feel informed and supported from the very first conversation to the day they complete.

Our Philosophy
We specialise in period and character homes because they carry a depth and individuality that deserve careful representation. These homes are shaped by craftsmanship, history and the lives lived within them. Presenting them well is not about embellishment, but about understanding what makes them unique.
Photography is architectural, marketing is intentional and communication is calm and transparent. Every decision is guided by the same principle: Homes deserve to be understood, appreciated and shown with care.
